No Hulu Ads is pretty simple. When an ad comes up on Hulu, the extension mutes the ad and covers it up with a black screen. When the ad is over, your video resumes playing at the same volume. You can also set No Hulu Ads to pause the video, or set up a desktop notification when the video comes back on.
