Blue Collar Restaurant Miami, has gone so far to rename their restaurant ?Pink Collar Restaurant? for the month of October along with offering a special menu created in memory of the chef/owner?s mother who was stricken and lost her battle with breast cancer; and?Daniel Boulud?s db Bistro Moderne Miami and Caf? Boulud Palm Beach have created a pink dessert in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Tonight Common Threads will host the 3rd Annual World Festival Miami from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., at The Moore Building in the Design District. The annual culinary event brings together Miami?s premiere chefs to raise money for health and nutritional education for city?s youth. Tickets are $150 per person. 2nd annual Oktoberfest Brickell will take place at Miami Circle October 5-7. General admission is $10 pre-paid and $15 at the door. German beers will be sold for $6-$8, and food for $4-$12. Drink and dine suspended?180 feet in the air; the dining table and seats are on a platform connected to a crane.?The event will be held on October 20th in Old School Square Park and will include four seatings, 5:30, 7, 8:30 and 10 p.m. The price of dinner tickets are $500 per person. Guests must be over 4?11? tall and a weight restriction of 225 lbs maximum.
